Most of the K.people that contact me of late have problems with depression, bipolar, psychosis etc...

NIACIN TREATMENT
Tyrosine is the hydroxylated form of the essential amino acid phenylalanine. Tyrosine is a precursor to dopamine, dopamine is the immediate precursor of noradrenaline, which converts to adrenaline (epinephrine). Adrenaline and noradrenaline promote activity, alertness and mood elevation. Dopamine is essential for initiating the coordinating movement and sexual arousal. Tyrosine has been used as a natural antidepressant (monoamine levels at the synapse can affect mood), memory enhancer, and overall stimulant for those not making enough of the activating neurotransmitters.
When under stress, the body reacts by producing adrenaline. Vitamin B-3 is an antidote to the stress hormone adrenalin thereby relieving the effect of chronic stress, reducing anxiety, tension and depression. One way of dealing with the extra adrenaline and consequent anxiety is to exercise which naturally uses up this excess adrenaline.  Omega3 Fish Oils - 1000mg. Vitamin B3 (niacin), magnesium and Rhodiola reduces adrenaline production and also works as an antihistamine Niacin is the precursor to NADPH, fatty acid synthesis is dependant on NADPH. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, or NAD. just about the most important coenzyme in your body.
Vitamin B-3 is made in the body from the amino acid tryptophan. It has been found helpful for many other diseases or conditions including cancer, arthritis, lowering high cholesterol and elevates good cholesterol levels (HDL). It also serves a therapeutic role in the schizophrenias, psychosis and other psychiatric conditions by countering the neurotoxic effects of Aminochromes (the oxidation products of catecholamines). The indole adrenochrome (oxidized adrenalin) is found in quantity in the bodies of schizophrenics and has an almost LSD-like effect on the body, through disturbing serotonin activity. Niacin serves to reduce the body’s production of this toxic material.
For niacin treatment start with as low a dose as 100 mg once day “after” a meal and gradually increase to 3 times a day after meals if needed. Food sources of B3 include:  Beef liver, turkey, brewer’s yeast, broccoli, carrots, cheese, corn flour, dandelion greens, dates, eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, pork, potatoes, tomatoes, wheat germ, whole wheat products. Herb sources: alfalfa, burdock root, catnip, cayenne, chamomile, chickweed, eyebright, fennel seed, hops, licorice, mullein, nettle, oat straw, parsley, peppermint, raspberry leaf, red clover, rose hips, slippery elm, yellow dock.

Niacin Flush Routine
To burn fat, raise metabolism as well as alleviate symptoms like depression, bipolar, compulsiveness and poor mental functioning the following regiment will normalize you…go for 20-30 mins run, then take a bath with Epsom salts, then take 100mg capsule of nicotinic acid (niacin)…this is the kind that causes a prickly, red niacin flush. This will clear out your circulatory system and start cleaning out the toxins stored in fat cells. Get at least 15mins nude sunbathing a day for your immune system and ionizing your blood, stick to a mostly raw diet, take as much kelp, wheatgrass juice and spirulina as you can…and take adaptogenic herbs. Evening
L Ron Hubbard in his purification program recommends the “flushing” niacin to be used in association with running, saunas, rehydration, remineralization, Vitamin C, Evening Primrose oil…Primrose oil is said to help the body dislodge fat which doesn’t seem to want to leave the adipose tissue. Borage oil, Moringa oil or  would be equally as good.

Niacin treatment can deplete choline, necessitating an increased amount of lecithin or choline in the diet. The nerve insulating myelin is made chiefly from fatty acids and cholesterol, are capable of transmitting impulses at incredible speed. Myelin production requires lecithin, along with amino acids, silicon, B2, B3, and especially B12, copper and manganese. Myelin consists of phospholipids and protein, which protect and electrically insulate the fibres. As well as being components of myelin, Phosphatydl Serine and Phosphatidyl Choline are phospholipids that are the major constituents of the cell membrane. They reduce cell membrane rigidity, increase fluidity and enhance the transport mechanism for neurotransmitters. The phospholipids and lecithin can be used with extra magnesium, zinc, B6, and B12 for enhanced dreaming in vivid colors with high recall.

SEROTONIN
Serotonin is made from the amino acid Tryptophan. Serotonin is a calming counterbalance for adrenalin and noradrenalin, it calms, elevates pain threshold, promotes sleep and feeling of well being, reduces aggression and compulsive behavior. Carbohydrate consumption, acting via insulin secretion and the “plasma tryptophan ratio,” increases serotonin release. Because dietary carbohydrates increase brain serotonin secretion we can become addicted to eating starches and sugars in an effort to feel better. The insulin signals all body cells to take sugar from the blood. Usually, the brain cells use 50% of all the sugar (glucose) in the blood and the other organs will burn fat.
Depression and chronic anxiety are conditions appear more often in women than in men. Research with PET scans show that women have a greater number of the most common serotonin receptors than do men. They also show that women have lower levels of serotonin transporter (SERT), the monoamine transporter protein that transports serotonin back into the nerve cells that secrete it. It is this protein that common antidepressants (SSRIs) block. Also it was found that in women with serious premenstrual mental symptoms their serotonin doesn’t respond as flexibly to the hormone swings of the menstrual cycle as that of symptom-free women.
Elevated tryptophan levels will make it easier for your body to naturally produce serotonin. Serotonin precursors such as foods containing tryptophan such as beef, chicken, dairy products, pecan nuts and bananas. 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is a serotonin precursor extracted from Griffonia simplicifolia seeds. 5-HTP increases brain serotonin far more efficently than tryptophan, and 5HTP readily passes through the blood brain barrier more easily. 5-HTP is said to alleviate anxiety, various forms of depression, insomnia, panic disorders; inhibits aggression as well as obsessive-compulsive disorders. To reduce appetite take 300 mg of 5-HTP, 30 minutes prior to eating to reduce appetite and cause you to feel "full" earlier in the meal. 5-HTP may also be helpful in some cases of compulsive overeating of carbohydrates, alcohol addiction, compulsive disorders and gambling as well as for insomnia.
Tryptophan is an essential amino acid that is a precursor to vitamin B3 ... metabolism of adrenaline in the brain is affected by vitamin B3 (niacin).
Tryptophan is used by the body to make protein, while 5-HTP is not. The body also uses tryptophan to make vitamin B3. So we can reduce competition for tryptophan supplies by taking 5-HTP and B3.
Also Rhodiola root enhances the uptake of serotonin precursors into the brain promoting calm. Rhodiola increases the activity of important enzymes as well as the level of protein and RNA in the skeletal muscles, reduces blood lactate and uric acid, lowers level of adrenal catecholamines, inhibit tumor growth, increases performance, strength and reduces fatigue.

HERBAL ADAPTOGENS FOR DEPRESSION
Adaptogens work at the cellular level to help the body cope with stress-related situations and preserve the cells energy generation. When the body is placed under stress, molecules known as beta-lipo-proteins increase in number and block the passage of energy through cell walls. These stress-induced beta-lipo-proteins block the key enzyme, hexokinase, that is responsible for transforming glucose to be used by the cells for energy. When cells do not receive an adequate supply of energy, they are unable to function properly. Adaptogens are able to thwart this effect by preventing the formation and accumulation of beta-lipoproteins and allowing the hexokinase enzymes to freely convert glucose into energy for the cells (Wahlstrom, 1987). Most brain ATP energy is produced through two interlocking metabolic cycles: the glycolitic cycle and Krebs cycle. The enzyme spark plugs required are B1, B2, B3, B5, Biotin, Magnesium, Manganese, iron, copper, lipoic acid, and CoQ10.

S-ADENOSYLMETHIONINE (SAM)
As an essential amino acid, methionine is not synthesized in humans, hence we must ingest methionine or methionine-containing proteins. In plants and microorganisms, methionine is synthesized via a pathway that uses both aspartic acid and cysteine. S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) is a coenzyme involved in methyl group transfers. It is made from adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and methionine;  most SAM is produced and consumed in the liver. Some research has indicated that taking SAM on a regular basis may help fight depression, liver disease, and the pain of osteoarthritis. SAM is required for cellular growth and repair. It is also involved in the biosynthesis of several hormones and neurotransmitters that affect mood, such as dopamine and serotonin. Low levels of SAM are implicated in the development of Alzheimer's disease (AD). More than 40 metabolic reactions involve the transfer of a methyl group from SAM to various substrates such as nucleic acids, proteins, and lipids.
High levels of methionine can be found in sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, fish, meats, and some other plant seeds. Most fruits and vegetables contain very little of it; however, some have significant amounts, such as spinach, potatoes, and boiled corn.[citation needed] Most legumes, though high in protein, are also low in methionine. Supplemental SAMe is best absorbed on an empty stomach along with Vitamin B complex to include the main cofactors Vitamin B6, B12, and folic acid.

SOLARIZED WATER
I don’t know what the water wizard Viktor Schauberger would say about our current penchant for color-solarizing water…his ethos was to keep water away from light and heat. From my own trials it appears that blue solarized water, made in a blue-glass bottle, reduces fear, agitation, anger, aggression, irritation and possibly depression.

Well Henry it goes on and on, as you can imagine depressed people like to yabber on and on about how they are depressed. I am going a niacin flush each day...its pretty cool, clears the head after the blood supply reduces down again. Sometimes if the flush is severe you can see all the areas of the body that are damaged. I will be doing it all year as a vessel clearing and radiation eliminating program.

THE TIDE GOES OUT BEFORE IT COMES IN
Boredom is avoiding responsibility. Depression is the next step down the emotional scale from boredom, where we repress ourselves still further to relieve ourselves from the pain of lack of engagement, care and involvement. If we do not have the strength of presence to be self-motivating and self-originating then we may fall pray to acedia or spiritual boredom. And then with diminishing energy and increasing lassitude and ennui we may not care enough to do anything about it.  The Greek word “acedia,” literally meaning “no care”—this points to the remedy for depression and boredom. That is, to become engaged, intimate, involved, invested, interested and enchanted with the world we find ourselves in by widening our idea of ourselves and losing our conditioned self-centricity.
That being said…there are very real changes in mood that seem inexorable and tied into the cosmos itself. High follows low, just as low follows high as we ride the yin and yang of the bipolar hyperbolic universe. There will always be a hyperbolic curve between the ups and downs associated with the electrogravitic influences of the sun and moon etc… We can quietly observe these and mark them off on the calendar to enhance our prediction and explanation skills, and in this way avoid negative overshoot and compensatory reactions to natural cosmobiological responses.
We each have to find that which keeps depression at bay for us, whether that be gardening, concerts, painting, travel, massage, exercise or cleaning out the closet. Besides gaining conscious awareness of nature’s cycles there are various lifestyle choices we can make to counter depression. By adopting anti-depression thoughts and behaviors we build up energy, resilience and a “mood immune system” if you will. These choices include the obvious—diet, sunlight, exercise, fun, social network, meaningful work, creative expression and the not so obvious more subtle choices such as—pleasing home environment, dream cultivation, music, uplifting movie, entertainment and positive news sources, building roots to family, ancestry and most importantly…working on something that benefits the globe.
If we neglect our “mood immune system” and allow it to become deficient or damaged, then of course we become depressed and our “downer” worldview and low energy frequency then attracts more “reasons” to be depressed. It takes determination, self inquiry and understanding as well as sustained focus and discipline to do what it takes to keep our “mood immune system” humming along at such a high rev that the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune no longer cause us the slightest regression, depression or fixation. Foremost in the cultivation of an exuberant, alive and happy lifestyle is having a larger calling which propels us beyond all temptation to collapse into ourselves and die inwardly. This calling then becomes the wind in our sails and the navigator of our dreams. As we hold this calling in our heart, it leads us on our upward path, even as we think we have lost our way.
As we feel into our deepest longings and challenge ourselves to greater truth and realness, we can consciously move forward-toward our destiny, rather than shut down, wasting time in sliding backward and away. In the book The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart (1971) the author proposes that we run into bad psychological habits because we have a falsely diminished mental framework as to who we are and our potential experience. To remedy this he suggests creating lists of twelve challenging alternative actions and to make decisions about what to do based on a roll of the dice. In experimenting with new experiences off the beaten path that challenge our normal worldview and bump up against our mask/armor, the chemistry for a more alive and awake engagement with the world is created. This self-challenge is a method by which we can pull ourselves up from the emotional pits of boredom, depression, acedia and anhedonia, by taking responsibility for our own experience and taking our lives seriously by engaging in some serious play!

Keep a journal on the types of triggers that you can directly link to subsequent periods of depression. Use this journal to document your moods, and correlate this to the season, moon phase and weather. Note your diet and exercise so you can correlate your down-swings to your behavior and level of self-care. You may find you get angry or depressed 2 days after say a meal of pizza…because as the food starts its exit path in the digestive system water is withdrawn from it. Complex, toxic, constipating foods will tend to back up the lymphatic system and reticulate poisons back into the bloodstream. I can pretty much guarantee a depressive episode by eating cooked carbohydrates, even rice. The cooked carbs increase adrenaline, cortisol and insulin...not to mention raising histamine in an allergic reaction to the influx of cooked starch/sugar and the immune system activation to protect the body. Simply eating carbohydrates raw avoids this mayhem...such as sprouted crackers, flaxseed crackers and Essene breads made in a dehydrator...kept below 118°F.  Dr. Edward Howell in his book Enzyme Nutrition that prolonged temperatures over 118şF will destroy enzymes. (www.excaliburdehydrator.com/) Sprouted quinoa, buckwheat etc...can serve as substitutes for rice, granola, cooked hummus etc...I also get great lethargy after eating cooked potato soup, less so with pumpkin, but I seem to handle cooked chilibeans and blackbean soup with less of a metabolic meltdown.
Often social triggers factor into the depressive cycle, as relationship tends to be our greatest stressor. Use the journal to vent all the injustices, insults, doublebinds, knots, sabotage, betrayals and other difficult social patterns you encounter. Usually we get stuck and stressed over a few reoccurring social glitches. The mind may then replay the incident until you end up depressing yourself for days or weeks, using the unfairness of it all as an excuse to “give up.” As these types of emotional miasmas arise learn to name the species of stressor as soon as possible and write out all your woes and injustices in your journal. Then consciously arrive at the most responsible, self-caring action and set about a game plan to change your energetic state “before” depression gets a chance to set in. Self-remedial actions could be taking a long walk, going for a run, soaking in a tub, going dancing, sunbathing, yoga…or if the energy is particularly stuck fast walking with grunting, growls and screaming might be in order. Consider that the body will need to run through its cycle of shaking of the flight-fight chemistry even, or especially if the trigger is a social one. If the energy-equivalent to the emotional-stressor is not released from the bodymind, and countered by play and pleasure then depression will ensue.
