Considering what we have done to the nutrient flows and balances in the ecosystem and how that relates to our health, it is little wonder why we are such a messed up species. As we crack open the mechanism of the deGenerative complex, it is obvious what type of changes and what type of society we need to create. And that we can indeed save ourselves is the good news, for doing things the right way can only lead to escalating joy, illumination and peace.

In the early 1950's, Dr. Carl Reich began to suspect that a number of imbalances and diseases could be traced to deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals. Reasoning that mankind's consumption of calcium and other minerals, as well as exposure to the sun, has decreased with evolution. He proposed that Western degenerative disease occurs when the body is under stress and the autonomic nervous system’s stimulation of the internal organs leads to an over-constrictive stress response in specific tissues. This maladaptive stress response occurs when there were deficiencies in certain key nutrients, especially calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. The level of calcium inside the cells becomes elevated, combined with a decrease in intracellular magnesium, cellular functioning is impaired and the cell is likely to become diseased. Magnesium provides the balancing and relaxation effects that offset the constricting effect of calcium. The elevated intracellular calcium sends out a message to "tighten up," and the message goes to the contractile apparatus of cells, causing them to constrict.

Calcium is normally at very low levels inside the cells; in fact it is 10,000 times less inside the cell than in the fluid surrounding the cells. The body uses this difference between the intra/extra cellular concentration of calcium as a signaling mechanism among the cells. If the calcium inside the cells is too high, however, the signaling response is blunted. As a result, the cells can no longer regulate themselves, they grow less responsive to stimuli, become calcified and begin the dying process. Syndrome X symptoms such as Type II diabetes, hypertension, cardiac hypertrophy, platelet aggregation, insulin resistance, hyperinsulinemia and obesity show evidence that intracellular calcium is elevated and intracellular magnesium is deficient.

The billions of bacteria that reside in the mouth can migrate in the blood stream and collect in the body. The different types of bacteria show up as various symptoms including arthritis, atherosclerosis, heart disease, brain dysfunction, osteoporosis, glaucoma, cancer, kidney stones etc… Because it is already “dead” these bacteria thrive more on cooked food than raw food. The reduction in oral bacteria is quiet noticeable when one changes to a raw diet. Weston A. Price, D.D.S. (1870-1948) was a Cleveland dentist, who traveled worldwide, and found that beautiful, straight teeth, freedom from decay, stalwart bodies, resistance to disease, and fine characters were typical of primitives on their traditional diets.

The microorganisms present in dental plaque are all naturally present in the oral cavity. Acids released from dental plaque lead to demineralization of the adjacent tooth surface, and consequently to dental caries. Plaque build up can also become mineralized and form tartar, just calcium can build up in plaque on the walls of the arteries. Theory is that the bacteria take calcium and phosphorus from saliva and together form calcium deposits that form on teeth. The calcium compounds is similar to the apatite formation of calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate in enamel and bone. Dental plaque may be caused by one species of bacteria. Olavi Kajander, a biochemist in Finland has dubbed this bacteria “Nanobacteria sanguineum;” an organism that is 1000 times smaller than regular bacteria. These ultra microbacteria live in human blood as colloid particles that may contribute to clotting of blood. The nanobacteria carry a negative charge in an alkaline environment that attracts calcium and phosphate to their outer shell thus producing various plaques.  Perhaps even the pineal gland is ossified in this way…cells become calcified and begin the dying process.

The Pineal Gland metabolizes serotonin into the hormone Melatonin. Melatonin derivates are: tryptamines and beta-carbolines, the group of neurotransmitters which are responsible for our dreams. Examples: DMT, N,N-DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, Bufotenine, Pinoline, Telepathine, etc. The pineal gland also makes an endogenous hallucinogen (6-MeOTHBC) that possibly induces psi-consciousness and  sensitivity to subliminal perception. In brief, the pineal gland has been found to synthesise melatonin, various beta-carbolines (MAO inhibitors) and certain peptides, and to contain enzymes that produce  hallucinogenic psychoactive compounds from serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) and its precursor tryptamine (Strassman, 1990). The pineal works together with the pituitary through the hypothalamus controlling the endocrine system, thereby affecting sexuality, adrenals, pancreas, thyroids, and other emotional and endocrine activities. It governs our circadian rhythm, regulates emotional state, reproductive function, dictates dream sleep and spontaneous psi experiences. The production of melatonin and the possibly psi-conducive beta-carbolines in the pineal gland, is affected not only by light and stress, but also by the EMF. Most spontaneous psi seems to occur at night, especially whilst dreaming as this is the time when melatonin production, and possibly beta-carboline production, are enhanced. We can see then that if the pineal gland is calcified or gets inadequate exposure to natural sunlight our entire functioning is thrown off, especially our higher human capacities such as psi, visions, dreams and therefore our creativity. Without a healthy functioning pineal gland we are spiritually blind.

Due to the relationship between nanobacteria and calcium plaques most of the chronic and infectious illnesses that trouble our society today are influenced by the health of our mouths. Oil pulling is an oral cleansing method from Ayurvedic medicine that involves swishing a tablespoon of olive or coconut oil in the mouth for 20 minutes a day.  It is advantageous to add a drop of essential oil of clove, oregano, eucalyptus or other such antiseptic oil to the mix to make the experience more pleasant. A great book that covers the procedure, and benefits is Oil Pulling Therapy: Detoxifying and Healing the Body Through Oral Cleansing by Bruce Fife. We have seen that the health of civilizations is reliant on the health of our mouths and our pineal glands. Over thousands of years we have created the biology of warfare with no conscious understanding as to what we are doing to ourselves, and that we are condemning future generations to ongoing mindless aggression.

I just got Biology of Belief by Lipton. He seems to support Sapolsky. Between these two guys, it seems like a consensus is forming. Stress makes the cell stupid and sick. What are the implications of this for the biology of kundalini?

Self rejection is the fundamental condition of the ego in which we use other people to hate ourselves with.

Our stress civilization, with its imperialistic, prejudicial, and dark energies of materialistic, consumer culture, combined with our radical nature deprivation, lead to ongoing metabolic chaos and brain damage...which in turn keeps this aggressive, competitive, spiritually superfical culture rolling around. In order to heal and recover our Whole Person functioning, we have to get off the Rat Activity Wheel of idle consumerism and discover our unique creative path...on which no human has gone before. The nature of creative energy is to not run down, but to increase and multiply itself.

Kundalini is the ultimate destressing process...the release of atomic biological energy results in a rewiring of the brain - so the organism doesn't have to carry the load of social reactivity (stress). Of course the peak years of limbic brain (emotional) and autonomic nervous system over activation can be stressful. But once you understand the nature of the process you can philosophically distance yourself from the immediate throws of ones neuro-emotional chemistry. Because of its extreme nature kundalini awakening makes the Hero's Journey conscious.

Hmmm I'll have to think about that.

Quote
Modern spiritual leaders have no knowledge of the technique of the deliberate
production of ecstasy and no idea how to direct it when it occurs spontaneously.
Revivalists succeed in producing a mild form of it among unsophisticated people by
means of personal magnetism, and the worth of a revivalist is judged by his power to
inebriate his hearers. But the consequences of this inebriation are apt to be like the
consequences of any other inebriation, and life seems exceedingly stale, flat, and
unprofitable when the revivalist moves on to other fields of activity. Because the
inebriation dies away, the convert thinks he has lost God; no one seems to realise that
ecstasy is a magnesium flash in consciousness, and if it were prolonged, would burn up
the brain and nervous system. But although it cannot be, and is not meant to be,
prolonged, by means of it we swing over the dead centre of consciousness and awake to a higher life. ~D. Fortune

She is talking about extreme ecstasy periods, not permanent ecstasy...you can achieve permanent ecstasy just by changing to a raw diet. Because when aligned with nature the natural state is ecstatic...a basic back ground of bliss within all else occurs.

Hey Francis...want to work on this following statement with me...I am feeling intellectually incestuous...having only myself to play with intimately.

To what degree does Mind Over Matter exist? Our emotional state, thoughts and beliefs (both conscious and unconscious) influence our health throughout our life. But positive thought is not omnipotent...if you defy the principles of nature. With education, discipline and goodwill the human species could get rid of degenerative disease within several generations if it wanted to. It is a bizzare phenomena that modern medicine is enabling a degenerative culture, by aiding and abetting and pretending they “they” are the cure for what only Nature can do. Only by coming into alignment with Nature can we heal, while merely treating the symptoms will never heal the root cause of dis-ease. Once we get over our fear of death and our death urge, doing the right thing for ourselves and the planet is an absolute joy. ReGenerousity and ReGeneration as a spiritual path is simply allowing the natural flow of evolution to occur. You can achieve permanent ecstasy just by changing to a raw diet. Because when aligned with nature the natural state is ecstatic...a basic back ground of bliss within all else occurs.

Ok, here's my first reaction to it:

Fulfillment is a wage, not a gift. It has to be earned. Conscious engagement in life is the task. Balancing the bipolarity of the Universe is the means. All forces are bipolar; they can be used to cancel each other out. There is therefore no reason to let any force run amok, since each can be bridled by its antithesis. Vigilance is prudent, especially since one half of any given bipolar force will tend to run amok when it is energized and allowed to do so.

Stasis = death, X-stasis (ecstasy) = life

The feeling of ecstasy is the feeling of release from stasis. If we keep moving and never rest, we won’t get that feeling because we'll take the feeling of moving for granted. Like driving a car in an unconscious “automatic” mode.

We can ignite or extinguish any force by first (emotionally) charging the force or by charging its concomitant antithesis. Aligning with Nature consists mostly of accepting what is and what will happen if we take some specific action. If what happens is explained by science, fine. If not, it’s “magic” but the same rules apply. Science is orthodox magic.

Mind over matter only applies within the rules of the game. The mind can only reconfigure the existing constellation of matter by degrees. The first step is accepting the current configuration of matter as the Perfect Image of the Law in action. Every action has a reaction, and each reaction is in perfect conformity with the Law. Therefore nothing is impossible, given enough time. Sickness, disease and depression are reactions to certain actions.

If we keep doing what we’ve been doing, we’ll keep getting what we’ve been getting. Don’t like what you’re getting? Change what you’re doing.

I would like to change my sex, my country, my species,  my planet.

With education, discipline and goodwill the human species could get rid of degenerative disease and war within several generations if it wanted to.

Unenlightenment (inner violence) and war (outer violence) are caused by the mistaken notion that we are separate—due to the dissonance and discommunication between our pairs of opposites— poles, charges, cells, hemispheres and sexes.
Reflecting on the circular nature of war, we see that violence is created by philosophical and spiritual ignorance! A mistake in perception. For in regarding the difference between power and nobility, we see that our true nature is one of “nobility” not power. The seat of nobility is the knowledge that “I Am That” is irrefutable, impeccable truth - which needs no proving or defense, only realization. As great sage Garwin Redman says, “The Awakened defend nothing about themselves or anything in terms of the interpretive values of others. They do not care how they are reflected in the minds of others thinking. This is not detachment, but non-attachment.”

The Lost Children of God
Those who have been inadequately seen, heard or outrightly abused in childhood fail to develop highly integrated brains. This lack of rich social neurology and inner support then produces an adult who believes there are beneficent or punitive Gods or spirits watching over them. Thus the origins of post-fall religions is a type of deprivation schizophrenia and collective hysteria that becomes established in narcissistic cultures that fail to tend to the infants primal needs for loving human contact.  Even now in the 21st Century, we are still using these voices and the threat of some patriarchal sky daddy as an excuse to make war on each other (for pride, position and resources). "My daddy is bigger than your daddy and I've got the missiles to prove it."

The accumulation of thousands of years of trauma resulted in the cognitive hardware of the average western individual, generally composed of the following traits:
• Reduced whole brain function by chemical lobotomy of the brain hemispheres
• Atrophication of the hippocampus (memory)
• Calcification of the pineal spirit gland
• Disconnection in the layers of the triune brain
• Verbal communication focused - hence left-brain dominance
• Suppression of the direct communication of truth, psi and feeling
• Reduced empathy, self knowledge, visionary capacity
• Cut off from self and cosmos, chasing after fictitious power and meaning

Only communities prior to the advent of agriculture and weapons of war provided the child with adequate focused loving attention. The agricultural revolution began around 8000 BCE with the horse drawn plough being used around 3000 BCE. Nomadic Saharasian groups of Indo-Europeans and Semites became patriarchal (unegalitarian) around 4000 BCE. The bronze age is said to have been from (3300–1200 BC), however we will soon find that the antediluvian people, prior to the great cataclysm of 12,900 BCE were also using metals. Not to mention laser stone cutting and sonic antigravity stone moving technology. www.beforeus.com/  — Dead Men's Secrets by Jonathan Gray

All emotional attachment leads to suffering (Gautama). Emotional attachment to any set of values is vanquished by the awakened state. That’s good because of the significant power wielded by the awakened mind, the abuse of which is quite a concern.

The awakened mind has balanced all the theses and antitheses. In a way this is like the zero-point energy of the noosphere. The power of each thesis and antithesis lies dormant and latent, pinned like a butterfly under glass, but the (latent) potency and power is vast. Like Pandora’s box.

This is like the Nassim Haramein newsletter I received this morning which spoke of confirmation of this theory of blackhole/whitehole. I will forward it to you.
I think he is saying that everything from the atom to the universe is a black hole...stars can be born around the black hole at the center of the galaxy because they are black holes themselves.

Finding the layers of shutdown, shock and removal is a life long process into the depths of our origins. I woke up this morning to realize my people pleasing to hostile females is due to my efforts to appease my elder sister who resented the fact that I was born. It takes enormous energy to maintain contraction from enlightenment and full life...this blackhole constitutes stress, lowered healthy, lowered prosperity and lowered spirit. Understanding the impersonal nature of happenstance and the inevitability of our animal nature allows us to loosen up on our retreat from existence.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm working up some more stuff on mind over matter too. I want to comment on the ancient civilization theme though...

I was watching Michael Wood’s India documentary on PBS and he seemed to imply that the worship of the Mother/Fertility goddess was abandoned (phased out) about the same time that the large scale success of agriculture allowed the first cities to develop. The idea was, perhaps, “Now that we control the abundant providence of nature, we no longer need to pay homage to this god.” So the farmer became a god, in place of the Fertility Goddess. But they had also the “rain god” that needed homage until they developed irrigation, and so on.

So engineering and technology have systematically stripped the various ‘gods’ of their power all along the way from the stone age to the present. In doing so, we have not really preserved the quality of reverence that we once had. This stripping away of the reverential aspects of society has left modernity with a recalcitrant residue of irreverence. These petty gods of old may be the bathwater, but reverence may likewise be the baby.

I think this can explain all kinds of social ills, in broad strokes, from environmental degradation to the divorce rate. The extinction of reverence may be the most pressing meta-threat aspect of the current zeitgeist.

Is reverence of value? Or should it be abandoned?

Is reverence of value? Or should it be abandoned?

I have nearly finished The Fall, Steve Taylor.

"God and gods enter when man has fallen into a sense of separateness and loneliness." D.H. Lawrence

The descent of man involves: an isolated sense of "I", alienation from the present, a linear time sense, abstraction, mind chatter, God-projections, fear of death, ideas of afterlife and reincarnation, ecocide, de-sacralization of nature, sexual repression, owning of wife and child as property, anthropomorphic elitism, materialism, possessiveness, territoriality, sense of dominion over nature, war, crime and violence.

Reverence is the natural state of cosmic union arising from an empathetic, emotional union (love) with nature and the universe. Faith and gratitude are the native condition of the original spiritual state in which there is a reanimation and reechantment of our perception of the universe. Historically we are now returning from our prodigal journey of separation, back to a state more akin to the primal people's respect for nature as a manifestation of spirit. This is the journey of serpent power—the descent of consciousness into matter and the return.

Signs to watch for: A fascist, despotic, imperalistic government that wants to use its young citizens in its war games, will propagate propaganda about teenage abstainance from sex. For as Wilhelm Reich pointed out, pent up bioenergetic tension will tend to break out in aggression and violence.

With all due respect to DHL, I would say that gods enter when man feels powerless. The success of agriculture and engineering made mankind feel powerful, so they abandoned the gods. Shlain (The Alphabet Versus the Goddess) was on the right track; engineering and other triumphs of left brain thinking were indeed responsible for displacing the old gods and goddesses. This happened to coincide with the development of language, the two had a common cause. One did not cause the other, imho. But as has been shown many times, right brain creative thinking (imagination) has made possible practically all of the initial ideas for the great engineering breakthroughs (eureka moments) and only afterwards were they later refined, developed and documented using left brain analysis. Somehow initial creative right brain impulses have been systematically devalued by society. This is the blind spot of science; science’s shadow. It’s like a piece of music; first there’s the right brained accomplishment of composition and then there’s the left brained accomplishment of execution (performance). Why value one over the other? We seem to have “evolved” (devolved?) to overvalue the latter and undervalue the former. As Ram Dass says, “After a great concert, would you go and thank the violin?”

yes... theory is always after the fact, no matter what discipline we're talking about.  without the inspiration (Right brain) there is nothing to analyze (left brain) or improve on.

can the act of reverence (honoring) be integrated into the new (-est) paradigm?
