Such love will not tolerate the energies of the smothering spider mother who consumes all or the domineering, selfish and irrational father. Through the burning heart of the upright King and Queen the patriarchy is undone.

Hey Bogo has John Lash done an historical analysis of reincarnation doctrine? He would be the perfect person to write a book on this...he being into astrology, myth, history, politicialization of religion and use of myth in social control etc... I have written a little on this which he might like as seed material for a new work...I think this issue is radically important to propel us out of narcissistic uroborus and new age infantalism.

I like the idea that the holy grail is another metaphor for the inner marrriage and for the hero that slays the dragon to marry the maiden and for the transmutation of lead (self-pity) into gold (Self realization). The dragon (reptile brain) holds the maiden (conscious fulfillment) hostage. Slaying the dragon means bridling the reptile brain and using its power for turning lead into gold.

The holy grail contains the blood (life force) of the saints, that's also the elixer vitae or Philosopher's Stone. Harnessing the reptile brain's power unleashes the abundance that is represented by the maiden (and the gold). This reinforces the self and allows for the expansion of the self into the mantle of the Self.
