Hey Bogo & Jana. Want to talk about psychic predation? I saw an article by J.L. Nash about Cantaneda's mud shadows chapter. I like this topic.

"There is an Eastern tale which speaks about a very rich magician who had a great
many sheep. But at the same time this magician was very mean. He did not want to
hire shepherds, nor did he want to erect a fence about the pasture where his sheep
were grazing. The sheep consequently often wandered into the forest, fell into
ravines, and so on, and above all they ran away, for they knew that the magician
wanted their flesh and skins and this they did not like.
"At last the magician found a remedy. He hypnotized his sheep and suggested to
them first of all that they were immortal and that no harm was being done to them
when they were skinned, that, on the contrary, it would be very good for them and
even pleasant; secondly he suggested that the magician was a good master who
loved his flock so much that he was ready to do anything in the world for them; and
in the third place he suggested to them that if anything at all were going to happen
to them it was not going to happen just then, at any rate not that day, and therefore
they had no need to think about it. Further the magician suggested to his sheep
that they were not sheep at all; to some of them he suggested that they were lions,
to others that they were eagles, to others that they were men, and to others that
they were magicians.
"And after this all his cares and worries about the sheep came to an end. They
never ran away again but quietly awaited the time when the magician would
require their flesh and skins.
"This tale is a very good illustration of man's position. ~ ISOM Chapter 11

Now for the antithesis

take a bow

Pronoia

"Pronoia is the suspicion the Universe is a conspiracy on your behalf."

"Pronoia is the positive counterpart of paranoia. It is the delusion that others think well of one. Actions and the products of one's efforts are thought to be well received and praised by others. Mere acquaintances are thought to be close friends; politeness and the exchange of pleasantries are taken as expressions of deep attachment and the promise of future support. Pronoia appears rooted in the social complexity and cultural ambiguity of our lives: we have become increasingly dependent on the opinions of others based on uncertain criteria." ~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pronoia_(psychology)

Francis,

this subject not only interest me, it fascinates me, and I've spent the last year or so digging my way through the overwhelming amount of material on it. My reason for doing this is, that I to my own big surprise a few years ago started having some extremely intensive, close and longdrawn experiences of beings, who seemed to be completely electro-magnetic energy fields (walked through walls, made electronic equipment go mad etc), made themselves invisible at will and came and went what must have been a 'portal'.

Altogether I've had app. 150 hours direct experience (spaced on two occassions), in normal awake state; day and night; sun, rain or darkness, in- and outdoors. Much of the time as close as two meters (they didn't like me closer). I've met more than 100 individuals, from 10-15 species, most of them humanoids, including two greys and a reptoloid.

I saw, heard (to a lesser degree), communicated with and one time touched one of these beings (a pet-like animal).

This just as basic information. Details would fill a book.

What's interesting in connection with psychic predation is, that these beings obviously fitted into the role as 'owners' of the planet. Those species which in one way or another use this planet as a kind of cattle- or slavefarm.

That psychic predation was part of the agenda is without doubt, the first group had so to speak their 'lunchbasket' with them, a couple of human zombis so DRAINED of energy, that just looking at them have given me the willies since, when I think of them.

On the two occasions I had such experiences, both the two (different) main species were heavily armed, and on the last occasion a small battle, lasting some 5-6 hours, actually took place in my fields and woods around my home. There certainly is 'war in heaven'.

I was at no time a center of attention, the surprise was mutual, when I saw them, and they saw me seeing them. Guess the major motive for coming here must be something with my place. A 'vortex' maybe.

But when my ability to observe them were noticed, I was later exposed to some extreme hostility, emotionally and mentally. Guess what I was exposed to could be called mind-invasion, basically being a bystander, but also an inconveniant wittness.

That's a tall one, but my basic attitude is, that the ET/paranormal scene already is overflowing with all kinds of scenarios, speculations and conclusions, so in spite of this experience probably being one of the more sensational ones, I've decided to be relatively silent about it. I value my privacy very much, and I don't want to start a cirkus around my person. Neither do I intend to write books etc. I'm a lone wolf, and at most to work in a small, serious group.

In any case these beings and the abilty to see them have very little value in a spiritual connection. Too much interest in the subject of claivoyance and 'aliens' is a blind alley, though it ofcourse has added a new dimension of information about the universe.

Far out. You mean they appear to have authority over the planet itself? Can anyone ever really own anything? What does it mean to own something? I was thinking about sovereignty, and it seems to me that sovereignty is about authority, power and freedom, not ownership. The grasping hand crushes the prize.

The question I have is this: are they neutral, benevolent or predatory toward you, based on your experience?

Even if 'ownership' is an illusion (an idea I find sensible), the pragmatic day-to-day consequences of this illusionary ownership will still manifest in a very palpable way.

But I'll try to go along with your very reasonable request for semantic correctness.

My experiences only include 'neg's (negative entities), so I'm in no position to form opinions (based on direct observation) about 'good guys' amongst other species. If such good guys exist, they either have very little authority or they have a very strict policy of non-interference.

Cit Francis:

"The question I have is this: are they neutral, benevolent or predatory toward you, based on your experience?"

Basically I was just a bystander, not a major player. And even if the consequences on my own life have been dramatic, my observations are MAINLY about the inter-species relationships AMONGST these 'others'. The dominant specie(s) clearly kept slaves, apparantly for breeding (possibly genetic manipulation) and sex-trade purposes. (Even without a physical body, sexual energy exists and can manifest trans-species).

I also observed energy-parasitism, and have been exposed to efforts of making me a victim. It's the most scary thing I've experienced in my life, and very difficult to defend yourself from, as the psi-talent or -technology involved is rather advanced. I had to develop a rather crude method of self-defence, and a later web-search has made it obvious to me, that most of the suggested self-defence methods are almost valueless.

The only reason we can have a direct and open exposure on this subject, is that these 'others'-species are fighting merrily amonst themselves. Should one faction ever win, we would soon live on a planet, which would make Orwell's Big Brother society look like a liberal utopia.

So yes. The guys I met were Predators, in any sense of the word.
BUT: Searching for clarity, it's important to be very critical of sources and information. There are hoaxes, selfdelusions, wanna-be individuals and a chinese box like situation of information/disinformation all over the place.

So beware of Bogomil also, I don't want to present anything as a complete or final truth; only experiences, which may be useful parts of information.

I was perusing the mud shadow chapter of the active side of infinity and it says that it's possible to cultivate a 'glowing coat of awareness that makes predation of this kind difficult or impossible. in what i've read about psychis protection, this would be a akin to  some type of aura 'armoring.' I seem to recall some references to various postures and alignments. I'll revisit the topic in the literature I have.

Francis,

I'm familiar with the parts of 'The active side of infinity' you refer to, actually Don Juan's comments are amongst the few I've seen, which make much sense, apart from some buddhist teachings.

Based on my own inner-alchemy results, my more formal theoretical 'map' of existence and my experience with the 'others' I have a different interpretation than you.

(We've already had such a few differences, but don't worry. I have my messias complex under reasonable control; meaning I could be wrong).

One of the central issues in Don Juan's teachings was 'stopping the world'. This is more or less identical with Gurdjieff's 'non-identification' or asian 'inner silence'. All being considered a necessary step for being able to experience 'reality'. Reality is, when you've switched from the 'ego', the 'smaller self', the 'false personality' etc to a transcendent existence (as I remeber it, Gurdjieff was a bit vague about this, but his initial steps followed this model).

For those who have tried it, the following will have meaning. For the rest it will be mystical mumbo-jumbo (possibly to impress the gullible).

"How can one acchieve non-doing through doing?"

Back to the 'others'. Inner silence (=possibility of transcendence) is almost non-doing. As the 'others' feed on human agitation, mostly or exclusively emotional, inner silence simply means, that agitation (inner movement) stops, and the 'others' have nothing to feed on, for the simple reason, that there IS nothing (remember the buddhistic 'void').

On the other hand techniques involving building of 'spiritual shields', white light etc (being a reiki 'master' (ha, ha) and a 'spiritual guide' (even more ha, ha)) I'm quite familiar with such.

But it doesn't function with the 'others' (and believe me, I tried). First: The 'others' can break through such shields in the blink of an eye. Secondly: 'Shield' creating needs a lot of inner movement (however subtle), and this plays you into the hands of the 'others'. They FEED on movement, and the more you fight to build a shield, the easier it will be for them to invade you. Besides you'll be exhausted quick, if you have to 'defend' a shield. and this makes you even more vulnerable.

To survive I had to stay awake three days and nights last time I had 'visitors'. This wouldn't have been possible, if I'd spent my energy 'fighting'. I went into silence.

I love new interpretations. That’s why I’m here.

How about this pronoic interpretation: they’re feeding off superfluous energy that you did not need or want anyway. Give the devil his due as they say. As Christ says, “this is the cup of my blood, take this all of you and drink”  angel

The adversarial approach may be aggravating the problem.

Sorry about the silence. Am down with a sore throat and a temperature.

If I understand you right, neither do I recommend an adversarial attitude. What I recommended was to be 'blank', this is non-violent and there's nothing for the 'others' to feed on, though I'm sorely pressed at times to let go my effort of inner silence, so I can function as dinner again (what's left of me). I have no intentions of freely becoming a zombi.

Besides to ascribe noble or moral behaviour to all groups of 'others' is totally inconsistent with my own experiences, considering that they are also fighting each other. An observation I'm not alone on.

I must admit with some chagrin, that those above humans in the food-pyramid are just as arrogant and insensitive as we are. I had hoped for growing ethics 'higher up', but then I won't let my naive expectations press solid pragmatic observations into starry-eyed fantasies.

The conditioned mind within the patriarchy is a type of learned inhibition of Spirit. This inhibition and removal from the full empowerment with the "force" of nature is what causes human predation and parasitism...and is also the cause of Homo hubris. These lower energy states are overridden by love...ie: synchronization with the Field. Victim-perpetrator is undone by uniting with the geneoactive source of all information and matter.

Went and got a Nassim Haramein download in person at NCAR tonight...will post my notes/reflections tomorrow.

Life cannot be pinned down, so there is no alternative but to set it free.

re: Bogomil

Glad you're feeling better. Have you read art of dreaming and power of silence? I would especially recommend art of dreaming because it seems to address your experiences. Also Judy Hall's the art of psychic protection and c.w. Leadbetter's book the astral plane.

I really don't have much to say about the content of your last post, but if you want to discuss some of these or other books, i'm up for that.

Hi Francis,

guess I formerly have read all of Castaneda's books, but unfortunately a fire destroyed my library some years ago, so I haven't had possibility to re-read them. I don't hold with 'gurus', but there are people I respect and listen to, amongst them 'little Carlos' (in spite of John Lash's biography of him).

Haven't read any of the other books you mention, but am familar with Dion Fortune's old 'psychic self-defence' book, which as books on that subject go, isn't too bad, and recently I bought Robert Bruce's 'Practical psychic self-defence', which I consider so valueless, that my opinion of it is unprintable.

The problem is, that the whole non-mainstream subculture has detoriated into sensationalist commercialism or wanna-be-sage'ism; in my opinion standards are a catastrophe at the present. People with no qualifications whatsoever are doing 'research', meaning they are reading equally unqualified and uninformed opinions from others, and then a new book is spewed out on the market with comments on comments on comments.

As I live in the backwoods, I have small chance of browsing new information, and this has forced me to rely much on my own experiences, observations and conclusions, instead of predigested material. And on the present subject (where I have a background equalent to e.g. Whitley Strieber both on the amount of experience and my ability to evaluate it), I can say with a high degree of assurance, that we're far from even having sufficient and reliable 'data'. What usually is presented as 'answers' mostly even don't deserve to be considered hypotheses, it's just wild guesses. There's gone inflation in 'truth'.

I take a Charles Fort attitude on this, a lot of 'weird' information needs a lot of time to produce reasonable answers, and my own approach is 'Comparative weird'ology', which includes a solid amount of epistemology. On this line, I can see some general, but vague and badly understood outlines.

The 'others' existential niche is so different from the one humans live in, that even if a reciprocial will for communication existed, it would be a tough job. A majority of people in the west have lost the ability to percieve the 'others', and amongst the few who do, a lot of hysterical religious categorization takes place. Something probably often encouraged by the 'others', who on their part don't seem to understand humans very well at the individual level and really aren't very interested either. And as the 'others' are able to go beyond purely physical manifestations, they can present almost anything they wish for us by the help of psi-, paranormal- and mind-manipulative techniques.

To what degree the resulting confusion is intended I can't answer, but my personal experiences demonstrate, that the 'others' aren't too happy about humans being players also, so we are given a lot of red herrings, especially from that bunch, which consider us cattle. You wouldn't want the herd to stampede.

"Won't help much, if not all involved parties do this."

Victim-Perpetrator...is ultimately undermined by its own energies. True stable leaders are the embodiment of love. Whereas the cortisol produced in the body of a predator/perpetrator will undermine their own health and happiness through the inner-violence to biology. Science is proving to us the Golden Rule is the fundamental rule of human existence...especially with the work of Robert Sapolsky and the Salk Institutes research on stress effects and cell communication. Loving compassionate action also preserves the health and well-being of someone is a victim or subordinate position also.
