I am pretty sure I am seeing corexit white bleached spots on some of the vegetation here in Boulder...mostly on the lighter green foliage that doesn't have such a waxy strong surface to the leaf.
Check out your area and report back. Possibly more fungal growth on the undergrowth also...thru damaged plant immunity.
If the corexit is reducing soil bacteria we may see an actual dieoff in plants in the next few years.
