Hi Folks,

   There is a good chance that I will be moving to Denver. Is there anyone who has been there, lived there in the past or present, might have any ideas or suggestions, contacts, acquaintances, tips, experiences good or bad, etc.?

It's half an hour or so from Boulder, that's pretty good.

I live in Boulder, and only visit Denver if I need to go to an exhibition or something...it is ugly for a city...pretty low on the energy scale. However there are prob some good people and places if you can find them. Boulder is cute...if you do move to Denver, you will just want to move to Boulder, inside the bubble. That coming from someone who doesn't participate in anything in Boulder. Its a much higher vibe here, but still I want to live in a higher vibe place, with more awake people...there is an undercurrent of adrenalization and spiritual snobbery here. Californians are more foreward minded and more open. Still prob'ly the best place in the US to habitat for a while...espec over the 2012-13 feasco. We might even be in for a UFO false flag tho I think that one is about 20 years away, there are plenty of more cards to pull before the big one.

Interesting analysis of the area Jana.
I hear Ft. Collins is a very nice place. I have to be practical with a family in tow. Housing prices are important and I am sure Boulder is through the roof.
I'll keep it on the nice place to visit list and carry the high vibe with me back to Ft. Collins or Denver...they'll need it.

The present city I live in got the ranking of the 4th most stressful city to live in America for 2010. You don't think I'm stressed do you?

Fort Collins sounds good...its an up and coming Boulder. You want to keep close to the front range where its cooler. Golden is another place you might look at. Its amazing Las Vegas hasn't thought of constructing a climate controlled dome exercise park.

an interesting spot 150 miles south of me is Asheville North Carolina. Kinda an eastern "country cousin" of Boulder, the area boasts a critical mass population of alternative creatives, bio-regionalists, conscious food permaculturists, holistic folks, healers, artists, musicians around an attractive town/city. A wee new agey, but there are enough of my redneck Nascar fundamentalist friends for balance . Not many "integral theorists", but a quorum of Integral people who can walk and chew gum at the same time . Beautiful mountainous gateway to the Smokies setting . Vincent Horn, of Heartmind homepage twitter section, recently moved to Asheville and is encouraging his Boulder friends to follow

Oh yea in the long term, Fort Collins may not be a good spot if the people cannot stop leach uranium mining in the area...one thing you might want to look into prior to setting up camp in the area.

I was in Asheville and loved it Henry. Stayed in a wonderful cabin overlooking the French River in the hills. However, the work for me would be in Colorado. If push came to shove, I would choose Asheville...much greener. Well Jana, I don't want to be glowing in the dark unless its my natural aura after Kundulini fires off and so I'll just have to weigh out the options. We'll see what Spirit has to bring.
