Quotations
There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers. ~ Richard Feynman

Well all I know is that I couldn't read Steven's posts because they were too aggressive. boxing
Besides I only make outrageous statements like Americans are trained in nastiness...out of a "we are all in the shit hole together and how do we get out of it." I spend my life looking at the steaming shit hole and emptying it out and making compost out of it. American's can't help themselves, they are a force of nature set on an inevitable course. 10,000 years from now there will be no such thing as America. Besides every other country has its own particular shadow elements, some are harder to see than others and less in your face but they are still there. I am just saddened by this psychological-spiritual regression the US is in...but perhaps it is a necessary phase of the revolution to more healthy forms of government and society. cigar
In Santa Barbara people weren't nasty at all, in Boulder they are, but I think it is a developmental thing and related to economics and the neurosis created by the Bush era fascism. It still lingers...and there is no solution as far as I can see but to move out of the area of sickness. If conscious light is bought to it the schizo-paranoia simply increases. Beats me

Story of my life, sister.

Quote
All the leaves are brown
And the sky is grey
I went for a walk
On a winter's day
I'd be safe and warm
If I was in L.A.
California dreamin'
On such a winter's day

I stopped into a church (stopped into a church)
I passed along the way (passed along the way)
You know, I got down on my knees (got down on my knees)
And I pretend to pray (I pretend to pray)
Oh, the preacher likes the cold (preacher likes the cold)
He knows I'm gonna stay (knows I'm gonna stay)
Oh, California dreamin' (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day

All the leaves are brown (the leaves are brown)
And the sky is grey (and the sky is grey)
I went for a walk (I went for a walk)
On a winter's day (on a winter's day)
If I didn't tell her (if I didn't tell her)
I could leave today (I could leave today)

Oh, California dreamin' (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day
