Michael D -- I'd like to see/hear the Sacred Spaces video playing on a huge plasma screen in a yoga/massage studio.
jimtzu -- nice, especially liked the flute score.

Nice creative piece, Jim - was it as fun to put together and to see at the end as I'm imagining. Still

thanks guys.. this was my actual first attempt at making a movie/slideshow. it came out pretty good considering. the music i did last year and was fun, the first time i'd used a singer other then myself.. really like her voice. the visual part is still a little crude but i'll be experimenting. i'm liking my new version of my screen name that i've been dubbed with.. and in this case very fitting

gym sioux, she does have a nice voice. I haven't tried you tube - it seems pretty cool, especially since I'm imagining it's for free. I haven't been into it lately but a few years ago for my pc I was using a program called ProShow Gold that was pretty good for slideshows. I am thinking that there are a lot of programs from free to expensive. I notice that now this program costs $70 - there's a lot in there for that amount. http://www.photodex.com/products/proshowgold/ Though this is sold as "for enthusiasts", I ground out a nifty 1/2 hour professional slide-show presentation that received good feedback for its technical flow - it can be tuned to be relatively "seamless". In my next life time I want to be a musician and dancer. Oh that's right, I don't believe in next life times - the current fantasy is sweet though. What a sweet way to be yourself, to employ your self - geting in some sweet zone. Jamming with others I imagine is a hoot and more.

Gym Sioux (love the new name)
That was fabulous, the slides go so well with the music, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up!
More!!!!!!!!
That singing piece is Cherokee Rose again, isn't it? The visuals really work well it, and I still love her voice

Gym Sioux, I so like that flute music. Lovely. I am imagining that your music nourishes you, is a medium for you to enter sweet zones. Is it possible to put into words what music is for you?
Your slide show looks smooth. I especially like how you used the zooms, the zooms and pans, and the center-oriented transitions - the one with small rays appealed to me, I didn't remember seeing that before. In case you are interested, for my, this early AM's sensibilities, that arched edge wipe (nomenclature?), to the side and up was a bit too visually radical a change when the new image coming in behind was contrasty to the first. Maybe in some ways and some places that does and did work for other's sensibilities. The music did cohere it all together nicely for me. Sweet.
Thanks for telling me that you got that program. Can you tell if it was worth the acquisition yet? Still

Liz... glad you like my little vids... getting my feet wet in that area. would like to do something with actual movies or animation. really have to appreciate how michael does his creations. steven dubbed me with my new name on the IQ post, hope i can live up to it Still... thanks for the kind words and critique. the proshow is more complicated than the XP moviemaker, but then it does more. i find the best way to learn is to dive in and see what happens. the wakinyan was the result. i'm sure i'll be learning more as i go along.

It was an excellent exploration, Gym Sioux. And thanks for receiving my comments as you did - I wanted to be more 3 dimensionally real by giving you more than just the, wow. Also, these thoughts are all so subjective, like personal taste in everything. Yes explore away without fear of negative judgement. Lay some weird spirals and atomic fragmentations on us, eh. Fine Sunday, Still.
