I had a friend call me recently and ask me if I would be interested in attending a Legacy retreat.

http://www.thelegacycenter.com/

Has anyone been to one? Know someone who did? If so, what was your experience or what feedback did you hear?

$500 for the workshop, $2000 for the whole package.

You could go to Florenece with me, marianthi and Steven, get change back, have a much better time and be truly transformed :-)

So ?nonimous?spills the beans:

Florence it is at last for my friends and me next month, inshallah!

Having avoided it during the 3 decades spent under my monastic  armour, I now have no fear of seizure when gazing up and close Michaelangelo?s David.  Wonder what happened.

Looking forward to it all.

Returned from Boston yesterday.

My Hotel room was straight across from Cambridge. Well, after I arrived I found out that I had forgotten my toothpaste and so proceded to walk out in the rain across the bridge that spans the river where all the Harvard and Cambridge students go boating every morning and afternoon looking for toothpaste. I found some at a gas station and since I was already somewhat wet (a moderate drizzle actually) I thought, "Why not, I'll walk a bit this way and see what I can see." Turns out I struck gold at supper time when I was getting hungry. An Oasis in the concrete jungle, a Whole Foods Market with everything your gastrointestinal heart could desire.
The place was swarming with college students and professors. Organic food, cheese, wine, salad bar, hot food to go. I ended up with Sushi and organic lemonaide with some fresh berries on the side. I then enjoyed my hard won new discovery while watching Harry Potter. It's rare I ever get out like that and even though it was just 1 day on business, it was a welcome break from the hum drum.

Still awaiting the results of my interview. Henry, thanks for the GoodLuck, it helped! And Marshall, I meant to call you, sorry, in my rush to get to the plane I forgot to write down your number. I'll need to put it in my cellphone memory so this does not happen again.

Thanks Steven! It's looking good. Now if I can get my butt out of a sling over career issues then I can move onto other things...transcend and include. I know, it's all really a game and I am wrapped up in it for the time being. So thank you all for putting up with my grumpiness and complaints over the years. Got to move on...and never return again to that worn out ground. The river flows and is never the same river ..always now.

All is one.

Yeah, okay, I'll forgive you this time, Dan. And btw, it's always the same river....with different moods and ever changing waters.....take it from a river guide and let the old expressions know ever greater precision (depth of meaning, greater functional fit, etc.) making it all more true.

I'll be calling you Marshall...and you to LIZ! And Liz, I tried the Second Life software again and no go, the damn thing doesn't work on my computer its so old  blush now that's an embarrassment. It's time for a new computer and a lap top as well if I am going to travel all the time so I can keep bugging everyone here!  Tongue

Travel tip for Boston. Avoid the taxi drivers if possible, they cost a small fortune. From airport to Hotel after tip I ended up with a $50 hole in my pants pocket and it wasn't that great of a distance (although the tunnel charge I think was $8). But, a very nice city! Marshall, I'll be in Boston again to make up for that call I owe you!
